What Our Customers Say About Thormac
In a recent survey conducted by Enterprise Ireland below is a selection of what the participants had to say about their experiences of dealing with Thormac.
It’s never an issue with supply from Thormac. Sean has never let us down in more than 25 years. No other supplier does this for us. We need a commodity product and ours has high criteria.
Thormac service benefits our whole company ultimately. There are no failures in our production line uptime or in our customer delivery.
They’re very easy to approach, we’ve had no problem with delivery in our 2 years of working with Thormac. We have up to 4000 products on mould #1. It’s never an issue when we’ve asked for changeovers.
Quality is always very good, their delivery performance is always very good, we never hear about Thormac – which is a good point. Thormac runs automatically, this is the best compliment I that I could give a supplier.
Thormac was able to provide outsourcing, it gave us competitive advantage. They’re not bureaucratic, they’re down to earth, they know their processes and products very well. They’re lean and mean. They stay close to their core. There are more overheads and more bureaucracy in larger factories.
We are focused on quality and know that we are demanding on service. Our suppliers need to be capable of meeting our quality requirements and our specifications and our planning demands. Thormac is.
They’re very transparent. We know we’re pretty demanding, they understand our needs and support us well. Thormac is very collaborative with us.
Prompt delivery. We have a continuous order and occasionally extra volumes are ordered. It’s never an issue with supply from Thormac. Sean has never let us down.
They’re good to react and have a good product.
Quality and our branding are the most important factors. We always get a quick response from them and they keep our stock on site if we need it. They’re good to react and have a good product.
Thormac manages our low volume production tool, with lots of changeovers, we’d be too stretched in our tool room. We were saving on machine time.
Thormac gives us confidence, some of our machines require love and attention, it takes attention to maintain these machines. Thormac have engineering expertise, it isn’t just press a button.
Thormac looks after our technically demanding products. Their strength is technical. And the integration aspect, lots of assembly is done by Thormac.
The location gives us the flexibility that we need in suppliers, daily deliveries, peak season flexibility. Definitely Thormac has a good relationship with our plant. They are fast to react when we need a change. They don’t need a logistics partner.
Typically, the answer from Thormac is “Yes, we can do that”.
They have a recipe that they can use to remove the static from diamonds in the jars. No one else in the locality can do this.
A big strength of Thormac is their proximity to our plant. We always get a quick response from them and they keep our stock on site if we need it.
